I am both the intended audience for this (they had me at Anderson and Einbinder). And also not (can take or leave a slasher movie).

It’s not as surreal as earlier Schoenberg films, though still a little off the wall. I appreciated the artistry of the filmmaking again. And laughed way more than I expected. I think that humour was probably the making of it for me.
